She's a momma kitty. Just had her little one a few days ago. Yes. Just ONE little one. Isn't that weird? They usually come in litters of at least 3 or 4. It's usually our luck that they come in 6's or 7's. But there was just one little black and white tux. Precious little thing.
It's first introduction to hardwood floors . . .
Momma kitty *ADORES* attention!
We couldn't get her to sit still long enough for her baby to eat until she curled up on Christina's lap with the assurance that she would be rubbed the entire time.
Cuddling with her baby . . . so sweet!
The sign that she is truly comfortable and content . . . kneading. Only, Christina didn't want her to get too comfortable. For one, she wasn't going to sit there all day, and for two, those claws are sharp! : )

And then (since the theme is taken from the "Ides of March") . . . yesterday, our ultra-spoiled mama cat decided to bring a few more sets of peepers into the world. Five, to be exact. We are always amazed at how she not only "lets" us watch her give birth, but she really actually begs for our company. : )
Miserable Mama . . . waiting patiently
Three here and two to go!
(at this point, we didn't know that! haha!)
Work's all done
Crazy cat! She moved them off the shelf. I guess she got too hot and wanted to relax on the cool surface of the hardwood floor for a while. She left them there just long enough to get some good pictures out in the open lighting before retiring to the back of the dimly lit shelf.
This is what happens when mama cat takes off. : )
I'm gonna go find Mama!
Love the tail! : )
These little kitties are THE. MOST. ACTIVE little things to be so young! Crawling off the shelf only hours after birth? Really??? Honestly . . . they are everywhere! : )
Such a sweet picture of contentment!
These little ones are SO precious! It's hard not to include bazillions of pictures! Every time the post is "finished", more cute moments pop up. : ) Oh, well . . . maybe this will suffice for now . . . : )
Allison's favorite . . . at least, for now.
They are so quiet and content.
Teensy tiny toes and tail! (sigh) Such cuteness!
