The burn ban has been lifted!!!!
We are now permitted to burn again after a LONG time of waiting. The forest fire is now 100% contained and there has been enough rain that the fire threat has lessened. The rain from the hurricane has helped tremendously!
(Of course, we haven't been out there since the hurricane, but the rain still helped.) : )

Especially seeing as how our creek had practically dried up and they were having to dig it out just to find enough water to keep the fires at bay.
This is such a wonderful sight! The Lord has enabled us to burn all but one pile, and it is awaiting our next trip in. FINALLY some progress!!!
