Our two main reasons for the trip were to do some renovation for Ms. Ann and to attend a friend's recital.  We found that due to Hurricane Sandy and the power being off for a couple days, we weren't going to get the work completely marked off the list.  But, hey . . . gotta leave some excuses to go back soon! : )

Camping out in the pool house!

This was our view every single day.  Rockhold Creek directly facing the marina (blue building).

Allison LOVED going down to throw bread to the birds.

 She definitely drew a crowd!

Packing

Bella has a sixth sense when it comes to our preparations for a trip.  She knows when the suitcases come out and everyone is scrambling around to gather everything up, there is change looming on the horizon.

And when we were packing for MD, it was no different ~ except for the fact that she decided to help us out. : )  We were gathering Ray's clothes when we noticed Bella had taken the opportunity to do her own packing!

 I'm going with you!!!

She was comforted only when she knew for sure that everyone was in the vehicle, and even then, she would not allow the driver to get out without us hearing her put up a big fuss.
(sigh)  Such a small dog for such a big personality! : )

Maryland Reflections

Okay . . . so I'm trying to figure out a good excuse for being silent so long.  The dog ate it certainly wouldn't do, and I'm afraid Hurricane Sandy can't be blamed either. : )

So we've been in Maryland, and although that isn't the best excuse, you'll have to admit it is hard to keep everything going while out of town.  Now for all the weeks of silence before that, you'll just have to forgive . . .  Still friends? : )
