A year and a half ago, a situation came up in which necessity required immediate attention. Thinking it would be a temporary need, we had a temporary solution, but as time has proven that it is more permanent (whether to this degree or not, only time will tell), we knew that a more permanent structure was in order. To be more specific, one sheet of OSB spanning 4 steps might be fun for the adventurous and certainly met the need, but for the everyday swing of life, it can get to be a little precarious. : )
So the materials were ordered out, and the construction of a brand new ramp was soon underway!
Sara and Ray started it Wednesday, and then Dad and Ray finished it up Saturday while the rest of us were in Hickory.
Definitely an improvement!
It's fun to walk up and down even if you don't need it, and certainly a blessing to anyone that does!
